Core C++

The Core C++ conference is a vibrant, community-driven event dedicated to the language C++ and its evolving ecosystem. As one of the world's top 3 international C++ events it is an in-person gathering in Tel Aviv, it brings together experts, enthusiasts and practitioners from Israel and abroad to share insights, innovations and best practices around modern C++.

The Core C++ User Group serves as the ongoing local hub for anyone interested in C++ — from the curious beginner to the seasoned systems programmer. With regular meet-ups, lightning talks and open discussions, it offers a welcoming space to learn, network and contribute to the C++ community in Israel.

Python

There are several Python communities in Israel. You can find out about their activities on the Python web site.

  • PyCon IL is the annual Python conference supported by HaMakor. Usually there are 650-700 participants.
  • PyWeb-IL, despite the name it is a general purpose Meetup group - everything about Python. Usually 30-40 people attend.
  • PyData Tel Aviv brings together data scientists and developers to share ideas and learn from each other.
  • Python Communities in Meetup, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, etc.

Rust

There are several of communities around the Rust programming language in Israel. Check out the Rust web site for the activities.

GitHub User Group

GitHub itself is not open source, but most of the open source projects use it so learning about the various features can help the development and maintenance of the projects.
