One more Windows only application entering the education system

Hello,

In my son's school they have started using a new system called "mashov",
that is used for the teachers to enter feedback on the progress of the
students. The system is also used for the school to give feedback to
parents, and at the last parent's meeting we got instructions of how to
access the information. This sounds like a classical web application, but it
turns out that the system is based on a windows only installation. I haven't
tried it with wine, but I would really prefer to be able to access the info
from any web browser.

I'm trying to figure out what is the best way of protest about this, and I
would be happy to receive some ideas.
